Introduction

A Waster stumbles into town with promises of a great treasure hoard to the North, and to return with the prize if only the settlement offers him supplies. Do the Punks trust him enough to agree, or will they verify his claims for themselves?

What Is Known

A dehydrated and weather-beaten waster, Albert Dean, is spotted by the Watch stumbling towards Mycircleum. When he recovers enough to speak, he reveals that he found an ‘extremely’ valuable cache of old tech, but he ran out of supplies before he could delve for them.

He then asks to be resupplied with food, shelter, and armaments, swearing he will return with the tech and give Mycircleum first right of refusal.

When asked for the location, he only gestures vaguely North, but won’t give more detail beyond the notion it is a day or six past some stronghold. He doesn’t want someone to steal his claim.

What Is Inevitable

If the group decides supply Albert, he thanks everyone profusely and leaves the following day. If he is not followed, he is never seen again.

If the group insists on accompanying him, Albert becomes defensive and even aggressive, angry that they must want all the treasure for themselves.

If the group decides to track him, it is not difficult. Albert is not exactly subtle.

Special Rules

Tracking Albert

The Punks need only make a single DEX check a day to avoid being seen by Albert. If caught, roll for his Reaction, ignoring a ‘Helpful’ result.

The Destination

Two days North of the Wasteland Stronghold outside of Mycircleum, lays a vast industrial complex, fallen to ruin and eroded by the winds and dust swept across the plains. What it once produced is no longer clear. Amidst the ruins can be found a 10-metre tall set of concrete double doors.
